Started in 2018, Gonzo was created with a need to showcase everyday stories in a real manner. With a background in documentary-making, we represent our clients in the most honest manner possible, without the glitz that takes away from the idea itself.

This is a place where the story is the hero, not the storyteller. We publish, curate, produce and exhibit the stories that we come across and offer to do the same for your stories too.

Sarthak is a Documentary Photojournalist and Filmmaker based in Bombay, India.
With a background of architectural conservation and Indian history, he founded The Gonzo Studio to document change. He has worked across industries as a Writer, Director, DOP, Photographer, Researcher and Designer.
When he’s not running the studio, he’s usually planning his next roadtrip with Rynelle (his wife), and their dogs Mufasa and Nala—film camera(s) in tow, working on his next photobook.

Sanket is the lifeline of The Gonzo Studio.
He was here before Gonzo became what it is today—our first employee and an integral part of the journey. With a sharp mind and a knack for production, he’s evolved into a creative force who makes every project better.
Sanket is a championship bodybuilder and a wonderful personal trainer. His work at Gonzo has expanded his skill set to include photography and editing.
