Started in 2018, Gonzo was created with a need to showcase everyday stories in a real manner. With a background in documentary making, we hope to represent our clients in the most honest manner possible, without the glitz that takes away from idea itself. Gonzo uses its network of creatives, from a wide range of professions to execute all scales and types of project that are required for production today. From set design, art direction, to cinematography, editing and production, we create a holistic portrayal of your product, all under one roof.

Gonzo Publishing is an independent, curated platform for storytellers.
Built by storytellers, this is a curated and independent platform for storytellers across all mediums. We hope to display the world around us, as a sum of the stories told about it. This is a place where the story is the hero, not the storyteller. We publish, curate, produce and exhibit the stories that are we come across and offer to do the same for your stories too.
Sarthak Chand
Founder, Creative Director
Sarthak is a documentary photojournalist and filmmaker based in Bombay, India. With his background of architectural conservation and Indian history, he founded The Gonzo Studio as an extension of his personal work in 2018. He has worked across industries as a writer, director, DOP, photographer, researcher and designer.
When hes not running the studio, he’s usually looking for his next roadtrip with Rynelle(his wife) Mufasa and Nala(his dogs), armed with a film camera or two(hundred), working on a photobook.
