Sofar Sounds x Bombay
Sarthak Chand (Founder, The Gonzo Studio), has executed the Bombay-based production of the initial episodes of this popular global music listening session. Thanks to the great team at Sofar Bombay, we were able to capture some incredible performances in the cosiest of locations, across the city.
We have undertaken different parts of the production, as well as the entire production, depending on the requirements for each session.

With a great team, we were able to witness the genius of this Calcutta-based musician and composer, along with his band of equally gifted musicians. This version of Dastaan remains one of our favourite performances we were fortunate to witness as it unfolded.

Abeineth
We were fortunate to witness this solo singer/songwriter perform his original ‘Cast Me Upon There’, at Tarq Gallery. His quite demeanour was quickly displaced by his Dylan-esque croons and whistles. Performances such as these remind us of power of these platforms for the next generation of musicians.

Alisha Pais
Alisha is one of the true blooded Indie musicians within the Bombay Scene. She was one of the original performers who had played in the first time around Sofar had been organised. With her return to the Sofar stage, we at Gonzo were thrilled to be able to help make the video of her performance.

Second Sight

Short Round
Jishnu Guha, a wonderful singer, songwriter, editor, filmmaker, busker, podcast-er, comic book fan and a general human being, performs some of his originals with Mali. At this performance, the album cover for his next project was also photographed.
